Boston police seek help identifying suspects in Faneuil Hall shoplifting spree

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects connected to a series of shoplifting incidents at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

Since June, the Sunglass Hut located at 7 Faneuil Hall Marketplace has been targeted in seven reported shoplifting incidents involving the same unidentified suspects, police said.

The incidents have consistently occurred between Tuesday and Friday between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., according to police.

The suspects have stolen an estimated $18,000 worth of merchandise during these incidents, police said.

Detectives assigned to District A-1 are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incidents.
