BELLINGHAM — Christopher Milien pleaded guilty Wednesday in Worcester Superior Court to multiple charges including Motor Vehicle Homicide by Reckless Operation, Reckless Endangerment of a Child, and Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.
Milien was sentenced to 2½ years with 2 years to serve in the House of Correction, followed by 3 years of probation, a 15-year loss of license and 100 hours of community service.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Lisa Casella of the Office of Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
The plea stems from a motor vehicle crash that occurred on June 30, 2021, on Granite Street in Bellingham, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old female passenger.
The Bellingham Police Department said the conclusion of this case marks an important step toward closure for the victim’s family.
