ROYALTON — A 22-year-old Northfield woman was charged with cocaine possession following a July 31 traffic stop on Post Farm Road.
Vermont State Police troopers from the Royalton Barracks conducted the traffic stop at approximately 7:43 p.m. for an observed motor vehicle violation.
During the interaction with vehicle occupants, police identified the passenger as Jasmine M. Brown of Northfield.
Following investigation, the vehicle was seized and a search warrant was approved by a judge.
Execution of the search warrant found Brown to be in possession of cocaine, police said.
Brown was located on Aug. 29, taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks for processing.
She was cited to appear at Windsor County Superior Court in Woodstock on Sept. 30 at 8:30 a.m.
