HENNIKER — A 41-year-old Keene man was arrested on an extraditable warrant from Wisconsin during a traffic stop for speeding on Route 202&9 on Aug. 24.
Officer Cole Bannister clocked Brandon Escano traveling 72 mph in a 55 mph zone at approximately 9:41 p.m.
During the traffic stop, Bannister ran Escano’s information through Merrimack County Dispatch and discovered he had a fully extraditable warrant from Wisconsin for possession of child pornography.
Escano was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Henniker Police Department for processing.
He was then taken to the Merrimack County House of Corrections where he will await extradition to Wisconsin.
The warrant stems from Escano’s failure to appear for a sentencing hearing in July 2020.
