SIDNEY — A 38-year-old Sidney man has been arrested on charges stemming from a road rage incident that led to a two-car accident in the Town of Sidney.
Joshua Crisell was charged with reckless driving, an unclassified misdemeanor, after deputies responded to the crash on Aug. 20, Delaware County Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced Tuesday.
Crisell had left the scene before deputies arrived at the accident, according to the sheriff’s office.
With assistance from the Village of Sidney Police Department, deputies located Crisell and his vehicle at a residence in the village.
In addition to the reckless driving charge, Crisell was issued traffic summonses for driving to the left of pavement markings in a no-passing zone, failure to keep right and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Crisell was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Sidney Town Court at a later date.
