LAWRENCE — The Quality of Life Task Force was conducting proactive patrols in the area of Broadway and Bradford Street on Monday when officers encountered a group of individuals loitering in front of a residence on Bradford Street.
The group was advised to move along and was formally trespassed as requested by the property owner.
A short time later, officers observed one of the individuals from the group back on the property.
He was placed under arrest for trespassing.
During a search incident to the arrest, officers recovered two small jars containing multiple twist baggies filled with a white powdery substance and a rock-like material, both consistent with illegal narcotics.
The individual was arrested and charged with trespassing, trafficking a Class B substance, and drug distribution.
He was booked without incident.
