FAIR HAVEN — Fair Haven Police arrested a 41-year-old Whitehall, New York man Wednesday after learning he was wanted on multiple charges.
Nigel A. Reeks was located at 9 a.m. in the Maplefields parking lot on Washington Street, according to police.
Reeks was arrested on a warrant issued by Hon. Judge Cortland Corsones of the Rutland District Court after he failed to appear in court on Jan. 8 for a prior charge of driving with a suspended license.
Police also learned Reeks was wanted by the New York State Department of Corrections after he absconded from parole.
He was additionally charged as a fugitive from justice.
Reeks was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center for lack of $50,000 bail.
