NEW HAVEN — A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday evening in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 104B and County Route 6.
Scott Awe of New Haven was pronounced dead at the scene after his 2024 Honda motorcycle collided with a 2006 Ford F350 pickup truck at around 5:31 p.m. Aug. 26, according to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Awe was traveling west on State Route 104B when he attempted to make a left-hand turn onto County Route 6 and collided with the pickup truck that was traveling eastbound on State Route 104B.
The operator and passenger in the truck were uninjured.
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the New York State Police, New Haven Volunteer Fire Department, the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, and Menters Ambulance.
The incident remains under investigation.
