PUTNAM — Two people were arrested Tuesday morning after police executed a search warrant at a Marshall Street residence and seized crack cocaine, fentanyl and other drugs packaged for street-level sales.
Daniel S. Baillargeon, 40, and Cheyanne N. Robertson, 44, both of 24 Marshall Street, were taken into custody around 10:25 a.m. following the raid conducted by Putnam Police Department officers assisted by the Connecticut State Police Bureau of Special Investigations Joint Task Force-East Office.
Police seized quantities of crack cocaine and fentanyl prepackaged for sale, along with anabolic steroids, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, scales, cutting agents and U.S. currency.
The search warrant was issued after a lengthy investigation initiated by complaints from concerned citizens in the neighborhood.
Baillargeon faces eight charges including possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of fentanyl, possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of anabolic steroids, possession of drug paraphernalia, destruction of evidence and operating a drug factory.
He was held on a $75,000 cash-surety bond for arraignment Wednesday at GA 11, Danielson Superior Court.
Robertson was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a drug factory.
She was released on a $25,000 non-surety bond with a court date of Sept. 10 at GA 11, Danielson Superior Court.
