LINCOLN — Members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Anthony Gambuto, age 56, of 93 Knotty Oak Road, Coventry, Rhode Island, on Aug. 27 for possession with the intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance.
Gambuto faces three charges related to fentanyl, crack cocaine and oxycodone possession with intent to deliver.
He was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and turned over to Third District Court officials for arraignment.
In a separate arrest the same day, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Giovanni L. Depina, age 25, of 275 Dora Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on a fugitive from justice warrant.
The warrant was issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for armed robbery.
Depina was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned as a fugitive from justice in Providence County District Court.
