CHITTENDEN — A 23-year-old Brandon woman was cited for negligent operation and criminal driving with a suspended license after a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening on Holden Road near Bausch Lane.
Vermont State Police received several reports of the crash at 6:56 p.m.
The operator, Chyenne Giddings, was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Troopers met with Giddings at the hospital and determined she was operating in a negligent manner and was unable to navigate a curve in the roadway.
Giddings was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Her 2005 Chrysler 300 suffered significant damage.
Road conditions were wet due to rain at the time of the crash.
Giddings was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Rutland Criminal Division on Sept. 29 at 10 a.m.
She also received civil violation complaints for operating without liability insurance and vehicle registration violations.
