ALLEGANY — Nasar D. Webb, 22, of Buffalo was arrested Aug. 21 following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine and fentanyl, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Webb was stopped at approximately 7:13 a.m. on West Five Mile Road in the town of Allegany for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.
During the investigation, Webb admitted to possessing drugs in a backpack located in the vehicle and consented to a search by deputies.
The search yielded approximately 21 grams of suspected methamphetamine, along with quantities of suspected crack cocaine and fentanyl.
K9 Lex assisted with a secondary search of the vehicle.
A search of Webb’s person revealed $3,725 in cash, which was seized by deputies.
Webb was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Olean Substation for processing before being taken to Town of Allegany Court for arraignment.
He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, unregistered motor vehicle and speed in zone.
Webb was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail pending further court proceedings.
