LAWRENCE — Last week, officers from the Midnight Patrol shift responded to a disturbance call involving an argument between individuals.
When officers arrived, those involved agreed to go their separate ways for the night.
During the investigation, one individual was found attempting to conceal a firearm.
Following a brief struggle, the suspect was taken into custody.
A records check later revealed the firearm had been reported stolen in 2005.
The individual is now facing multiple charges, including firearm-related offenses, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace and receiving stolen property.
