LEBANON — The Lebanon Police Department arrested two men on drug-related charges following community tips about suspected drug activity at multiple locations in West Lebanon.
On Aug. 15, officers stopped Thomas Stevens-Metcalf, 34, of Piermont, N.H., in the area of 15 Railroad Yard, West Lebanon, following community reports of drug activity at that address.
Stevens-Metcalf was arrested on two outstanding bench warrants and new charges of transporting drugs in a motor vehicle and two felony counts of possession of crack cocaine and Suboxone.
Cash was seized during the encounter.
A subsequent search warrant executed on the vehicle Stevens-Metcalf was operating resulted in the discovery of additional illegal drugs.
The case remains under investigation and further charges are expected.
On Aug. 23, another community tip led officers to 19 Village Lane, West Lebanon.
Officers encountered Eric Gorman, 32, of West Hartford, Conn., in the area, and during an investigative stop, he fled on foot.
Following the deployment of a taser, Gorman was apprehended and arrested for resisting arrest and detention.
A search warrant was later executed at 19 Village Lane, Apartment 74, where officers located several weapons, including one confirmed stolen, more than 12 ounces of cocaine, and cash.
