PALMYRA — Members of the Palmyra Police Department met with the Newark Police Department on the evening of Aug. 23 and worked together to locate and arrest a Pittsford woman in connection with a gas station theft case involving more than $2,000.
Elizabeth M. Paulson, 31, was located in Newark and taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
She was transported to Wayne County Booking, where she was processed and held for CAP Court.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation in July, when Palmyra Police responded to a theft at the Marathon Gas Station on E. Main Street.
Police allege that Paulson, who was employed at the Marathon Gas Station and still in onboarding training at the time, stole cartons of cigarettes valued at over $2,000.
She was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony.
