Manchester police investigate fatal motorcycle crash on East Industrial Park Drive

MANCHESTER — A 58-year-old Bedford man died after his motorcycle struck a commercial vehicle on East Industrial Park Drive on Aug. 21.

The Manchester Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 4 p.m. in the area of 344 East Industrial Park Drive.

Officers determined that a 2025 Freightliner operated by a 34-year-old Manchester man was traveling southbound on East Industrial Park Drive.

As the commercial vehicle began to make a right turn into 344 East Industrial Park Drive, the motorcycle traveling in the same direction struck the rear passenger-side tires of the Freightliner.

The motorcycle operator sustained life-threatening injuries in the collision.

He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the Freightliner was not injured.

The identity of the motorcycle operator is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the cause and circumstances of the crash.
