Bradford crash sends driver into parked vehicle

BRADFORD — On Aug. 22 at approximately 11:59 a.m., Vermont State Police Dispatch received a report of a two-vehicle crash on N Main Street.

Troopers responded and determined Michaela Plante, 29, of Newbury was traveling south and crossed the center line, eventually striking a parked 2020 Toyota Rav4 on the east shoulder of N Main Street near Doe Meadow Lane.

Plante was driving a 2004 Lincoln Town Car and was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Toyota was unoccupied at the time of the collision.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, with Plante’s vehicle damaged on the front driver’s side and the Toyota damaged on the driver’s side.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

Road conditions were dry blacktop under clear weather conditions.

Plante was issued several Vermont Civil Violation Citations.
