BROOKFIELD — A 61-year-old woman crashed her vehicle into a tree on Stone Road on Friday morning after failing to maintain her lane of travel.
Jill Knudson of Brookfield was driving a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek south on Stone Road at approximately 10:33 a.m. when the vehicle exited the west side of the roadway north of 2429 Stone Road.
The vehicle came to an uncontrolled position of rest after colliding with a tree.
Knudson was wearing a seat belt and no injuries were reported.
The vehicle sustained substantial front-end damage.
Vermont State Police from the Royalton Barracks responded to the single-vehicle crash.
The Town of Barre Ambulance assisted at the scene.
Road conditions were dry and normal with clear weather at the time of the crash.
A Vermont Civil Violation Complaint is pending.
