AUBURN — The Auburn Police Department arrested five people on drug and trespassing charges during two separate incidents at Hebrew Cemetery following community complaints about suspected illegal activity.
Police received multiple reports in July regarding possible narcotics and prostitution activity at the cemetery located at 1 Cemetery Road.
Officers increased patrols and conducted focused enforcement efforts in and around the cemetery in response to the complaints.
On July 31, officers conducting extra patrols found two individuals inside a vehicle parked in an area constituting criminal trespass.
Andrea Hayden, 48, of Blackstone, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A substance, possession of a Class B substance, and trespassing on railroad property.
Eric Cotton, 39, of Worcester, was arrested and charged with trespassing.
On Aug. 7, officers located another vehicle trespassing on cemetery property during continued enforcement efforts.
Annamaria Ginisi, 30, of Worcester, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with possession of a Class B substance, possession of a Class E substance, and trespassing on railroad property.
Raymond Delgado, 43, of Worcester, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with possession of a Class B substance (subsequent offense) and trespassing on railroad property.
Alexandra Kubetin, 36, of Chicopee, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A substance and trespassing on railroad property.
The Auburn Police Department said it remains committed to addressing community concerns and ensuring resident safety.
