ENFIELD — A fox captured near Bud Mil Road and Meadow Lane has tested positive for rabies, the Enfield Police Department announced Aug. 20.
The fox exhibited abnormal and aggressive behavior and had contact with several people before being captured and euthanized.
The Enfield Police Department is working with the town Health Officer, the New Hampshire Department of Health, and New Hampshire Fish and Game regarding the incident.
