Somerville police investigate multiple break-ins, road rage incident

SOMERVILLE — Somerville Police responded to Willow Ave for a road rage incident on Aug. 5 at approximately 6:34 p.m.

Officers spoke with two male parties who stated they got into a traffic dispute then began fighting each other.

Police responded to a residence on Elm St for a past breaking and entering on Aug. 11 at approximately 5:43 p.m.

Officers spoke with the victim who stated someone entered his garage and stole a bicycle.

On Aug. 11 at approximately 1:16 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Jaques St for a past breaking and entering.

Officers spoke with the victim who stated someone reached through an open window of her apartment and stole a laptop.

Police responded to a residence on Lexington Ave for a past breaking and entering on Aug. 11 at approximately 6:46 p.m.

Officers spoke with the victim who stated someone entered his garage and stole a bicycle.

Somerville Housing Police responded to a residence on College Ave for a past breaking and entering on Aug. 8 at approximately 2:39 p.m.

Officers spoke with the victim who stated there was damage to his apartment door and several items inside were tampered with.

Police also reported 5 motor vehicle thefts, 8 bike thefts, 3 car breaks, 2 vandalisms and 1 package theft during the period.
