SPRINGFIELD — A 66-year-old Springfield man has been cited for negligent operation following a road rage incident involving two off-duty probation officers.
Arthur Steinberg was issued the citation on Aug. 13 at 11:30 a.m. following an investigation into an incident that occurred Aug. 5 at noon.
The Springfield Police Department was notified of the road rage incident by Springfield Probation and Parole on Aug. 5.
Investigation revealed that Steinberg engaged in reckless behavior while operating his motor vehicle, directed toward the two off-duty probation officers.
Steinberg was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, on Oct. 7 at 8:30 a.m. to answer for the crime of negligent operation.
