PALMYRA — The Palmyra Police Department investigated a vehicle larceny reported Aug. 5 on Johnson Street in the Village of Palmyra.
The vehicle was successfully recovered within 12 hours.
On Aug. 6, another vehicle larceny was reported on West Jackson Street.
Officers quickly located the vehicle within 20 minutes.
During the course of this investigation, Palmyra Police officers observed two juvenile subjects on South Townline Road.
A search of the nearby wooded area was conducted with assistance from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit.
Evidence was collected from the recovered vehicle with the assistance of an Evidence Technician from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
The following day, two juveniles were arrested in connection with these incidents.
Both juveniles are facing charges and will appear in the Youth Part of Wayne County Court to answer for their actions.
