ELLICOTTVILLE — A 27-year-old Salamanca man was arrested Saturday on multiple charges including menacing with a weapon and unlawful imprisonment following an incident in Ellicottville.
Tore-Andrias Rickett was charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree for preventing an emergency call, menacing in the second degree with a weapon, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, and harassment in the second degree involving physical contact, according to the Ellicottville Police Department.
Rickett was arraigned in Ellicottville Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in Ellicottville Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The Ellicottville Police Department was assisted by the New York State Police and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
