South Windsor police arrest 2 on warrants, domestic charges

SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested a Hartford woman early Tuesday morning on two active failure to appear warrants during a traffic stop.

Kathiria Hernandez, 36, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. in the area of Route 5 and Pleasant Valley Road, where she was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was stopped.

She was processed and held on a total surety bond of $50,000 and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court this morning at 9 a.m.

In a separate incident Monday evening, police arrested Rosann Myers, 60, of South Windsor following a domestic violence incident.

Myers was taken into custody at 6:30 p.m. after allegedly entering a victim’s room and taking a candle in violation of a protective order.

She was charged with larceny in the sixth degree and violation of a protective order.

Myers was held on a $55,000 surety bond and is also scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court this morning at 9 a.m.
