A pat-frisk revealed a 9mm ghost gun in his waistband, loaded with a high-capacity Glock magazine containing 14 rounds.
Both suspects were placed under arrest and the firearms were seized by Youth Violence Strike Force detectives.
McGee faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and unlawful possession of a firearm on school property.
The juvenile faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a high-capacity feeding device, carrying a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and unlawful possession of a firearm on school property.
