Fulton County sheriff reports 43 arrests in 2-week period

JOHNSTOWN — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office handled 472 incidents and made 43 arrests during a two-week period from July 18-31, according to a press release.

The incidents included 141 traffic stops, 34 motor vehicle accidents, 24 domestic violence complaints and 11 disorderly conduct cases.

Other incidents reported were 11 larcenies, 11 welfare checks, eight animal complaints, six frauds, four missing persons, three criminal mischief complaints, three mental health complaints, two burglaries, two trespasses, one arson, one assault, one drug overdose, one menacing complaint and one vehicle theft.

Among the arrests, Ryan R. Gardner, 34, of Gloversville, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the first degree, a B felony, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, an A misdemeanor.

Katherine DelaCruz, 36, of Gloversville, was charged in Johnstown with grand larceny in the third degree, a D felony, welfare fraud in the third degree, a D felony, and two counts of offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree, an E felony.

Rahsaan D. Clinton, 37, of Amsterdam, was charged in the town of Northampton with arson in the third degree, a C felony, criminal mischief in the third degree, an E felony, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, an A misdemeanor.

Brian F. Battisti Jr., 22, of Gloversville, was charged in the town of Johnstown with two counts of possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a D felony, and two counts of grand larceny in the third degree, a D felony.

He was also charged in the city of Johnstown with two counts of possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a D felony, and two counts of grand larceny in the third degree, a D felony.

Multiple individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants or charged with vehicle-related offenses including aggravated unlicensed operation and operating while registration suspended.
