CAMBRIDGE — A Bangor woman has been charged with arson in connection with a domestic disturbance Monday.
The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office responded to 288 Ham Hill Road in Cambridge for a domestic disturbance on Aug. 11.
During their investigation, deputies requested assistance from the State Fire Marshal’s Office to investigate the cause of a fire that had occurred at the residence.
Fire investigators responded to the scene at 6:55 p.m.
Through interviews and a fire scene examination, investigators concluded that a fire involving personal property had occurred outside of the residence and had been intentionally set.
Investigators learned Jamie Johnson was not the owner of the property involved and did not live at the residence.
Johnson was arrested and charged with domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence assault, violating conditions of release and arson.
Johnson is currently being held on $25,000 cash bail at the Somerset County Jail.
