SANFORD — The Sanford Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a man suspected of defrauding two banks out of $7,000.
Police say the suspect used a fake ID and misused identification to walk out of two different banks with the money.
The department is working with the banks involved and other government entities to identify and prosecute the person.
