FALL RIVER — A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested Friday on multiple firearm and terroristic threat charges after police executed a search warrant at his Orange Street residence.

Officers from the Patrol Bureau initially investigated a report of terroristic threats on Aug. 8.

During the investigation, officers viewed a video showing the suspect in possession of a firearm.

The suspect was already on GPS monitoring for charges including armed robbery, assault to murder, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

A collaborative investigation between C.A.S.T. and the Patrol Bureau led to a search warrant for the suspect’s residence.

The warrant was executed with assistance from the Emergency Services Unit and detectives from C.A.S.T. and the Major Case Division.

While officers entered the residence, the suspect threw a Taurus .380 handgun out of a third-floor window.

The weapon was recovered as evidence.

The juvenile was charged with possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a firearm without an FID card, two counts of possession of ammunition without an FID card, possession of a large capacity feeding device, and bomb/hijack threat.
