Exeter police arrest 3 on various charges

HOPE VALLEY — Troopers arrested three people on various charges Tuesday, according to Rhode Island State Police.

At 1:40 p.m., troopers arrested Aaliyah Peagler, 30, of 17 Eska Drive, Ledyard, Connecticut, for violation of no contact order, first offense.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 102 in Exeter.

Peagler was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a future Fourth Division District Court date.

At 8:16 p.m., troopers arrested Nathaniel Mitkowski, 50, of 95 Kuehn Road, Ashaway, for driving under the influence of liquor, BAC unknown, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 3 in Exeter.

Mitkowski was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a notice to appear in Fourth Division District Court.

At 8:39 p.m., troopers arrested George Dorrance, 38, of 339 South County Trail, Exeter, for simple assault and disorderly conduct.

The arrest resulted from troopers responding to a disturbance at the residence.

Dorrance was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Fourth District Court.
