WALLINGFORD — A man was cited for unlawful trespass and petit larceny after allegedly stealing from a vehicle at a Cumberland Farms store Saturday night.
Spencer Beckwith, 48, entered the motor vehicle of John Benson Jr., 55, of Manchester, knowing he did not have the right to do so and stole property from the vehicle, according to Vermont State Police.
The incident occurred at 9:38 p.m. at the Cumberland Farms located at 309 North Main St.
Troopers responded to a theft complaint at the location.
Beckwith was located and issued a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Criminal Division.
