SCHENECTADY — Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman in her 30s wounded Monday evening.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting near Watt Street and Tremont Avenue at approximately 8:31 p.m. Aug. 11.
Police found an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg.
The woman was transported to an area hospital where she is being treated for what appears to be a non-life-threatening injury.
No suspect is in custody and detectives are actively investigating the incident.
