PROVIDENCE — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an active domestic incident call Saturday at 4:01 a.m. on Hagedorn Mills Road.
Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Kyle B. Aguilera, 47, of Providence, for criminal contempt in the 1st degree and aggravated family offense, both class E felonies.
Aguilera is accused of violating the mandate of a court that ordered him to stay away from the victim.
The charge was elevated to a felony due to a previous conviction for criminal contempt within the preceding five years.
He is also accused of committing a specified offense under the statute having previously been convicted of a specified offense within the preceding five years.
Aguilera was arraigned before the Honorable Sean Piasecki in the Charlton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in the Providence Town Court.
