SHERBURNE — A 48-year-old Sherburne man was arrested Saturday on charges of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals after allegedly physically abusing a dog in his home.
Jason L. Fowlston was taken into custody by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office following a report of animal abuse.
A brief investigation revealed evidence that Fowlston repeatedly kicked the dog, according to the sheriff’s office.
Fowlston was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Village of Sherburne Court at a later date.
