WATERTOWN — State Police are attempting to identify an individual who was captured on surveillance camera at the Walmart Super Center on Route 11 in the town of Le Ray, Jefferson County.
On July 31 at 3:37 p.m., a customer inadvertently left cash at a self-checkout register.
When the customer returned to retrieve it, the money was no longer there.
Surveillance footage shows the male in the photo later taking the unattended cash and leaving the store.
Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photo is asked to contact State Police at (315) 366-6000.
