LEWISTON — The Lewiston Police Department executed a search warrant at 158 Blake Street early this morning as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking and a recent shots-fired incident.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency assisted in the operation.
Due to the high threat level posed by the individuals involved, the Maine State Police Tactical Team was deployed to assist.
Officers seized 486 grams of fentanyl powder and 10 grams of cocaine powder during the search.
Maslah Aliyow, 28, was arrested and charged with trafficking in scheduled drugs, a Class A felony.
A 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested and charged with trafficking in scheduled drugs and in connection with his involvement in a recent shooting.
The juvenile was transported to the Long Creek Youth Development Center.
