West Greenwich man arrested after hit-and-run crash on Route 95

WEST GREENWICH — Rhode Island State Police arrested a 26-year-old East Greenwich man Monday night following a hit-and-run crash that resulted in personal injury.

Tyler Dees of 66 Kings Street, Apartment #1, East Greenwich, was taken into custody at 9:21 p.m. Aug. 11 on charges of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in personal injury, obstructing an officer in execution of duty and reckless driving.

The arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle accident on Route 95.

Troopers later located Dees on Hopkins Hill Road in West Greenwich.

Dees was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed and held overnight as a bail violator pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court.
