STARKSBORO — A 35-year-old woman was cited for simple assault after allegedly attacking another woman following a verbal argument early Aug. 10.
Vermont State Police said Brittney Bird of Starksboro assaulted Kayona Latulippe, 26, of Huntington, at a residence on Hillside Drive at approximately 1:59 a.m.
Police from the New Haven barracks responded to the reported assault.
Both women sustained minor injuries during the incident, according to police.
Bird was located and issued a citation for simple assault.
The case is pending additional charges, police said.
