GREENWICH — A New York man was arrested Wednesday on charges of sexually abusing a child under the age of 11.
Juan J. Hermosillo Bolanos, 28, of Salem, New York, was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
State Police began investigating June 4 after receiving a report of inappropriate contact between an adult and a child.
Authorities determined Hermosillo Bolanos allegedly touched the child’s intimate parts multiple times in the spring while in Salem.
He was arrested and processed at SP Greenwich before being taken to Washington County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
