Peekskill woman arrested for assaulting boyfriend with rock, cell phone

CORTLANDT — A Peekskill woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly assaulting her boyfriend with a rock and a cell phone during a domestic dispute.

Troopers from the State Police Cortlandt barracks responded to a report of a domestic assault at a private residence on Reynolds Lane at approximately 6:05 p.m. Monday.

An investigation determined that Amillyon A. Allen, 19, struck her boyfriend in the face with both objects following a verbal argument.

The victim sustained facial injuries.

Allen was charged with assault in the second degree, a class D felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor.

She was arraigned before the Town of Cortlandt Court and released on her own recognizance.
