Suspect arrested in Boston shooting

BOSTON — At about 8 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested Justice Grubb, 22, of Boston, in the area of 79 Central Street in Weymouth.

The arrest was made with the assistance of the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section and the Weymouth Police Department.

Grubb was wanted on a warrant issued out of Brighton District Court for carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, assault to murder and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

He is expected to be arraigned in Brighton District Court.

At about 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, officers responded to the area of 282 North Beacon Street for a report of shots fired.

An adult male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
