Norwalk police arrest 3 in narcotics investigation

NORWALK — Three men were arrested on drug charges following a months-long investigation by the Norwalk Police Department’s Special Services Division into illegal narcotics sales in the city and greater Fairfield County area.

Kevin Daniel Reese, 33, of 57 Eastwood Road, Bridgeport, was arrested July 30 on charges including four counts of possession of controlled substance, four counts of sale of narcotics, three counts of operating a motor vehicle under suspension, two counts of conspiracy to sell narcotic substance and one count of conspiracy to possess controlled substance.

Reese faces additional charges of possession of controlled substance and possession with intent to sell narcotics that were filed at the time of his arrest.

His bond was set at $600,000 with a court date of Aug. 14.

Jason Sampson, 36, of 6 Cedar St., Norwalk, was also arrested July 30 on charges of possession of controlled substance and two counts of sale of narcotics.

Sampson’s bond was set at $200,000 with a court date of Aug. 14.

Jaequann Gilbert, 33, of 112 Clinton Ave., Bridgeport, was arrested Aug. 1 on charges including four counts of possession of controlled substance, four counts of sale of narcotics, four counts of operating a motor vehicle under suspension and one count of conspiracy to sell narcotic substance.

Gilbert’s bond was set at $450,000 with a court date of Aug. 15.

Gilbert was taken into custody with assistance from the Stamford Police NOC unit.
