CORINTH — The Sheriff’s Office received a missing person complaint Sunday at 11:10 a.m. regarding a 32-year-old Wilton man who was reportedly last seen leaving the Star Bar in the village of Corinth earlier that morning.
Deputies searched possible routes of travel and subsequently located a single motorcycle crash in a wooded area at the intersection of Fuller Road and County Route 24 in the town of Corinth.
The operator of the motorcycle was identified as 32-year-old Jarod M. Green – the person who had been reported missing.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Saratoga County Coroner Dave DeCelle.
Preliminary investigation into the crash revealed that Green had failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, left the pavement and struck several trees.
The investigation is still active at this time.
