Man arrested on stolen vehicle, drug charges at Sharon park and ride

SHARON — A Lebanon, New Hampshire man was arrested on multiple charges Aug. 4 after a welfare check at a park and ride facility.

Anthony Riendeau, 27, was taken into custody at approximately 9:11 a.m. after state police responded to a report of a man who appeared to need medical attention inside a vehicle.

Troopers determined Riendeau was in possession of a stolen vehicle belonging to Mitchell Beland, 66, of Hartland.

Police also found Riendeau in possession of narcotics and discovered he had an active in-state warrant.

Riendeau was transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing before being taken to Windsor County Superior Court to appear before a judge.

The charges include possession of stolen property, possession of narcotics and the active warrant.
