HARTLAND — A 40-year-old man was arrested on domestic assault charges following an incident at a residence on July 4.
Timothy Davis of Hartland was taken into custody at 11:41 p.m. after Vermont State Police troopers responded to a reported domestic assault.
Troopers determined Davis had caused fear of serious bodily pain and injury to a household member.
Police said Davis then assaulted a separate party while at the residence.
Davis was processed at the Royalton Barracks before being issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
He was charged with first degree aggravated domestic assault and simple assault.
Davis was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail.
