CRAFTSBURY — The Vermont State Police arrested a 31-year-old man on multiple charges including first-degree aggravated domestic assault following a family dispute Saturday night.
Troopers were notified of the dispute at a residence on South Craftsbury Road at approximately 10:39 p.m. on Aug. 2.
While responding to the scene, officers learned the alleged suspect had fled in a vehicle.
Troopers located the truck in the area and conducted a traffic stop.
The operator was identified as John Medlock, 31, of Craftsbury.
Medlock was detained and after investigation was arrested on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault in the presence of a child, criminal driving with a suspended license and second-offense driving under the influence.
Medlock was transported to the Derby Barracks for processing.
He was later lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility and held without bail.
