POUGHKEEPSIE — Three men were arrested July 30 after New York State Police found approximately 40.6 grams of crack cocaine during a traffic stop.

Members of the State Police Troop K Community Stabilization Unit stopped a 2021 Jeep near Main Street at approximately 1:18 p.m. for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.

The driver was identified as Julio C. Tejada, 41, of Manhattan.

Two passengers were also in the vehicle: Cedric Thomas, 59, of Manhattan, and Robert Ravetti, 39, of Poughkeepsie.

A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the discovery of the crack cocaine, which was packaged in a manner consistent with distribution, police said.

All three men were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree with intent to sell, also a class B felony.

Tejada and Thomas were remanded to Dutchess County Jail.

Ravetti was released on his own recognizance.
