PRATTSBURGH — A 33-year-old Prattsburgh man was arrested July 22 on charges of rape and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.
Emil Aliev of County Route 78 was taken into custody following an investigation into a reported rape, Sheriff Jim Allard said in a statement released July 30.
Aliev is accused of having sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 13, causing harm to that person, in Prattsburgh.
He is charged with rape in the first degree, a class B felony, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Aliev was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and released on $7,500 bail.
