3 arrested on warrants, 1 on drug charge at Lincoln Woods barracks

PROVIDENCE — Troopers arrested Richard L. Adams, age 49, of Central Falls, Rhode Island on Wednesday at 6:53 p.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant for failure to stop for accident resulting in damage to vehicle.

The arrest resulted from a barracks investigation with East Providence Police Department subsequently taking Adams into custody.

Adams was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the justice of the peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.

Troopers arrested Jose Perez, age 35, of Central Falls, Rhode Island, on Wednesday at 10:50 p.m. on a Superior Court bench warrant for assault with intent to commit specified felonies originating from the Providence Police Department.

The arrest resulted from troopers investigating suspicious activity on Cranston Street in Providence.

Perez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

Troopers arrested Jordan Hazard, age 30, of Providence, Rhode Island on Wednesday at 11:08 p.m. on a hold without bail-failure to appear, Third District bench warrant for disorderly conduct originating from the West Warwick Police Department.

Hazard also faced three hold without bail-failure to appear, Third District bench warrants for domestic violence-criminal violation of no contact order originating from the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue in Providence.

Hazard was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

Troopers arrested Marcus Doyle, age 30, of Cranston, Rhode Island on Thursday at 1:13 a.m. for possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance.
